peppers Every member of the Yahara River Grocery Co-op will have the joy of being part of the cooperative family. Like all consumer co-ops, the YRGC will operate for the good of the people who own and use it.

Besides financial benefits, members will enjoy the democratic control of the business. Co-op members can share in the decision-making process, elect Board members, and serve on committees.

Members also have a responsibility to patronize the cooperative, and to provide the capital necessary to finance the business. This member support keeps the co-op economically healthy, and allows it to adapt to changing member needs.
