Become a Member

The Yahara River Grocery Cooperative depends on the support and input of its members. Your membership investment will be used to purchase equipment and inventory and to finance day-to-day operations. As a member, you will be able to participate in decisions of how to put the membership investments to best use.

Membership fee

The Yahara River Grocery Cooperative has only one type of member. All memberships are individual, with one vote, although all members of a household may use the membership card to shop at the store and receive member benefits.

You can become a member of the Yahara River Grocery Cooperative for only $75. This is a one-time cost (not an annual fee) and represents your investment in the YRGC. You may pay the fee in one payment of $75 or in three payments of $29 down (includes a $4 processing fee), $25 at the 3-month anniversary, and $25 at the 6-month anniversary for a total of $79.

Yahara River Grocery Cooperative does not sell, trade or give away information we receive from members without specific individual consent. This applies to personal information, e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and any other information that may be provided by members. Providing good customer service to our shoppers and members is important to YRGC and the co-op does not sell or transfer member data to others, except to complete appropriate business transactions (e.g., credit card numbers to banks).
